This role is part-time and designed for someone who enjoys flexibility and already has a packed schedule. - Students are higher functioning
- K-12th
- 1 Hour a week total
- 20 mins, Monday-Friday six weeks and 30 mins of consultation per six week
Job Details: - Ability to create inclusive and engaging physical activities for students of varying abilities.
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive equipment used in physical education.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with disabilities.
Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Education, Adapted Physical Education, or a related field.
- State certification/licensure in Physical Education, with an endorsement in Adapted Physical Education preferred.
- Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of child development, physical fitness, and motor learning.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
